Energy return foam compounds enhance propulsion efficiency

Jordan Brand has been coming up with some novel ideas to colour-up the Air Jordan 1 but this might be one of their most unique so far.

Dubbed "First in Flight" the shoe draws inspiration from Michael Jordan's hometown of North Carolina through another iconic name; the Wright brothers. It seems that NC is adept at raising people with a penchant for flight, whether it's in Kitty Hawkwhere the first powered flight took placeor Chapel Hill where Jordan's college career kicked-off.

The shoes wear the iconic UNC colours of cornflower blue over white, with accents in navy and yellow referencing colours of the North Carolina flag.

Abrasion deflecting toe guard preserves structural integrity in high wear zones.
